THE FINISH BENEATH THE SWIRLS

Clean paint.
Clearer reflections.

A clean car can still look dull. Fine wash marks and surface haze interrupt the reflection, especially in direct light.

Paint correction refines suitable imperfections with carefully chosen polishing products and tools. Our goal is visible improvement with respect for the finish that remains.

Refine it. Then protect it. ↗

01 / APPEARANCE

Depth you can see.

Reducing suitable swirls and haze brings definition back to reflections and helps the paint’s color show more clearly.

02 / PREPARATION

A considered foundation.

Correction before protection lets you address the finish first, then choose how to care for it going forward.

03 / PRESERVATION

The right stopping point.

We balance improvement with paint condition. Some marks are better left alone than pursued too aggressively.

THE PAYTON PROCESS

Every pass
has a purpose.

We build the process around your vehicle’s condition and the package you choose, with inspection and communication throughout.

  1. 01

    Inspect & understand

We discuss what bothers you about the finish, look at the paint in good lighting, and agree on a realistic level of improvement.

  2. 02

    Wash & decontaminate

A careful wash removes loose dirt. Appropriate decontamination addresses bonded contamination so we begin polishing with a clean surface.

  3. 03

    Choose the approach

We match the pad, polish, and machine technique to the paint. A small test area helps guide the work while keeping preservation first.

  4. 04

    Correct & refine

Controlled passes reduce suitable defects. A single-stage enhancement brings back gloss; multi-stage work adds compounding and finishing for more refinement.

  5. 05

    Inspect & protect

We check the finish under good lighting, remove polishing residue, and apply the protection included in your selected service.

  6. 06

    Review & maintain

We walk through the result, explain any remaining marks, and share washing and aftercare guidance to help preserve the finish.

A LITTLE KNOWLEDGE GOES A LONG WAY

Good questions. Clear answers.

New to professional paint care? Start here.

What is paint correction, in plain language?

It is controlled machine polishing that reduces fine imperfections in glossy paint. Swirls scatter light and make a finish look hazy; refining them allows the color and reflections to look clearer. It is different from a wash, wax, or repaint.

Will every scratch disappear?

No. Deep scratches, stone chips, peeling clear coat, and damage through the paint may need touch-up or refinishing. We discuss those areas with you. Keeping a healthy finish matters more than chasing every last mark.

Does polishing remove any paint?

Abrasive polishing removes a very small amount of the outer finish as it refines defects. Paint is a finite material, so the condition and history of each panel guide the approach. More aggressive work is not always the better choice.

Should I choose enhancement or multi-stage correction?

Enhancement is a good starting point for mild swirls and a noticeable lift in gloss. Multi-stage correction suits more visible defects and a higher level of refinement. We inspect the finish and discuss your goals before recommending the level.

Is correction useful on a new car?

Sometimes. A new vehicle can still have light marks from handling or washing. We assess what is actually present; a new car does not automatically need an aggressive correction.

How long does the result last?

The defects we successfully remove do not simply return as a wax wears off, but new marks can form from future washing and use. Gentle washing, clean microfiber towels, and suitable protection help maintain the result.

How much time should I allow?

Our listed Level I enhancement is approximately 4 hours and Level II correction approximately 8 hours. Vehicle size, paint condition, and the agreed work can affect timing. Confirm the appointment details in Urable.

Do I need a ceramic coating afterward?

A coating is an optional way to protect and maintain the refined finish. It does not perform the correction itself. Review what is included in your selected package, or explore our ceramic packages that combine preparation, correction, and coating.
